Sensitive teeth?

Discomfort from sensitive teeth occurs when the inner part of a tooth is exposed from enamel wear os weakening of the gums. When this happens, external stimuli including cold, heat, acids, tactile pressure, ect., can cause discomfort to those who are affected by this condition.

Causes

- Abrasion: Enamel wear caused by a poor brushing technique or by repeatedly chewing on objects

- Bruxism: clenching teeth due to stress os anxiety

- Erosion: Enamel wear by chemical action - consumption of acids or use of abrasive toothpaste

- Dental treatments: prophylaxis, periodontal treatment or tooth extraction

1. Physical action
